Here are some additional tips that may be helpful when setting up and getting started with your new eZip 400 Series Scooter:
1) No Lights On The Throttle When Turning The Scooter ‘ON’. Please 1st make sure that your battery pack is plugged in. In most cases, the battery pack will be disconnected for shipping purposes. See your Owner’s Manual for instructions on removing the deck plate and accessing the battery pack (or Click Here). Make sure the battery plug-in connection is secure and then resume installation steps with charging the battery pack.
2) Difficulty Installing The Seat Post. The seat post (or mast) on the Currie scooters fits very tightly and some customers may experience some initial difficulty inserting it fully. Follow the steps in the following tech document for assistance with this installation step…. (Click Here)
3) Slight Rubbing Or Friction In The Front Disc Brake. There is a normal “breaking in” period with the disc brakes and a slight amount of friction initially is to be expected. If the brakes seem unusually tight and do not allow for full unobstructed rotation of the front wheel see the brake adjustment insert located on the front wheel assembly of your scooter (steps 3 and 4). If you do not have that insert, (Click Here).
